Robert and Stephenie were engaged on April 14, 2021 during Robert’s Change of Watch ceremony. Robert was the Commodore of the Everett Yacht Club during the 2020-2021 year. The ceremony occurred at the end of Robert’s reign, when John became the new Commodore. Robert asked Stephenie to hand out appreciation awards to club members.
